To help us maintain a positive and enjoyable studio environment, we ask all members to follow the Code of Conduct below.

• All members must complete an initial 1-to-1 Discovery Session before taking part in Small Group Personal Training.

• Please arrive on time for your session. If you need time to get changed or prepare, we recommend arriving around 5 minutes early so sessions can begin promptly.

• Loaded barbells and dumbbells must not be deliberately dropped onto the floor, as this can damage the flooring, equipment and surrounding property.

• Bags, coats and personal belongings must be kept in the designated storage areas and must not obstruct training spaces or walkways. Belift cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

• Appropriate, clean and safe sportswear and footwear must be worn while training.

• Glass bottles and glass containers are not permitted in the training area.

• Food should not be consumed within the training area.

• Members must not attend or participate in training while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. The possession or use of illegal drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.

• Smoking and the use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes or vaping devices are not permitted inside the studio or within areas of the premises where smoking is prohibited.

• Belift has a zero-tolerance approach to threatening, aggressive, discriminatory, intimidating or abusive behaviour towards members, staff or visitors.

• Please treat all equipment and facilities with care. Equipment should be wiped down where appropriate after use and returned to its designated place.

• Gym equipment must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with instructions provided by the Belift team.

• Please report any damaged or faulty equipment to a member of staff immediately and do not continue using equipment you believe may be unsafe.

• Members must follow reasonable safety instructions given by Belift coaches and staff.

Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in a member being asked to stop training, leave the studio, or, in serious or repeated cases, having their membership suspended or terminated. Where appropriate, this may be without refund.

If you see or experience anything that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, or notice anything that does not seem right, please speak to a member of the Belift team as soon as possible.
